The Patient browser tab allows the user to view the datasets that are either currently avaialable or that
have been previously been processed on the host computer system.

The components of the patient browser
are listed below:
- Series table: This is the table located in the bottom half of the patient browser. It is used to
displayed the search results of the series in the patient database.
- Refresh button: Clicking this button will refresh the results displayed in the series table.
- Patient name filter text box: Entering a string in this box will filter the results in the series table based on the
patient name. Search accepts asterisk ``*'' as a wildcard.
- System serial number combobox: Limit the system serial number of the series shown in the series table
to one specific system or not.
- Listmode file combobox: Limit the series shown in the series table to only those that have listmode
files currently available on disk, those that do not have listmode files available on disk, or include both.
- DICOM file combobox: Limit the series shown in the series table to only those that have DICOM
files currently available on disk, those that do not have DICOM files available on disk, or include both.
- Import series button: Click this button to search and import all series on the current host computer.
- Send series to recon button: Selecting a row from the series table and clicking this button will
send the series to the Recon tab. If more than one row is highlighted, only the first row will be sent
to the Recon tab.
- Archive DICOM button: Selecting one or more rows in the series table and clicking
this button will allow the user to save one or more sets of DICOM files to a location
on the host computer. This location
may be a directory or a USB thumbdrive.
- Delete series button: Selecting one or more rows in the series table and clicking this button will
allow the user to delete different types of files associated with the highlighted series.
