Data associated with a series can be deleted at a number of different levels. To delete data,
highlight the series to be deleted in the search results window on the Patient browser. Next
click on the ``Delete series'' button. This will open a dialog box which contains a number of options.
The following options are available.
- Delete series DICOM: Delete the DICOM files associated with this series.
- Delete series intermediates: Delete the intermediate files
that were generated during data processing.
- Delete series database entry: Delete the series from the database. Selecting this option will
cause the ``Delete series DICOM,'' ``Delete series intermediates,'' and ``Delete series from disk''
options to also be selected.
- Delete series from disk: Delete the series data from the local disk. This will not remove
DICOM files, if they exist for this series.
- Delete patient data from disk: This option will cause all sibling series (series that share
the same listmode files) to be deleted from disk.
- Delete patient data from database: This option will cause all sibling series (series that share
the same listmode files) to be deleted from disk and from the database. The associated DICOM filesets
will also be removed.
Note that if none of the options are selected and the ``Delete'' button is clicked, nothing will be deleted.
If the ``Cancel'' button is clicked prior to clicking the ``Delete'' button, nothing will be deleted.
Similarly, if the Delete series dialog box is closed before the ``Delete'' button is clicked, nothing
will be deleted.
