No normalization filesets available

Prior to reconstructing PET data, a normalization fileset must exist for the system serial number that the data were collected on and that covers a time range that covers the acquisition time of the dataset.

Click on the ``Normalization'' tab. There must be a dataset listed in the Normalization datasets section that matches the system serial number and time range of the dataset of interest. If there is not such a dataset listed, click on the add dataset button. The normalization dataset must be presently on disk. Select the patient directory, study directory, and series directory of the desired normalization dataset. The information boxes will be filled in once the series directory has been selected. Set the time range that this dataset will cover by adjusting the spin buttons in the lower part of the window. Click the ``add dataset'' button when finished.

Next click on the ``Patient browser'' tab and select the same normalization dataset from the series table on the bottom half of the window. If the table is empty, click on the Refresh button. Highlight the row in the series table with the normalization dataset. Click on the ``Send series to recon'' button.

The focus will change to the ``Recon'' tab. All of the information for the dataset should be loaded into the GUI. Change the ``recon type'' to norm and set the ``voxel size (mm)'' to the desired setting. Update the ``series description'' text box if desired. Click on the ``add job to queue'' button to add the job to the batch queue. The current state of the batch queue can be viewed by clicking on the ``Batch sys'' tab.
