Prior to starting the program, pdsi_setup must have been run. If the GUI has never been run on the current machine, before launching the program for the first time, run npctOfflineGuiSetup.sh from the command line. This will create a few directories that are needed by the program.
To launch the GUI, run npctOfflineGui.
If this is the first time running the offline GUI, the first process one should run is to import the data on the host computer into the database. To do that, click on the Patient browser tab. Then click on the Import series button. There is a message window in the lower left corner of the GUI which will show the progress of the import.
